Hello Roger
The return code -50 says that you had a tcp/ip error. Which may or not be
true. Sometimes it is seen after something else fails which shuts down
things which leads to the tcp/ip error. Sometimes it is just that.

So the question is do you see any other errors before this error.
Do you see any other errors in the o/s logs (event logs for windows)
Other signs of tcp/ip problems with non-TSM software? etc.

What is in common with all the nodes having problems. If it is all
the clients, then you might look at the server.
One source of tcp/ip errors would be if the server ended up with a
full duplex/half duplex mismatch issue with the networking hardware.
