Would have been nice if you told us what platform you are using...On any flavor of Unix, just halt TSM, even it you have to do it with a kill. Start again, but run it manually by just cd'ing to /opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin and running ./dsmserv. After TSM starts, you will be at the TSM prompt without having to enter a password/username, see if you can trouble shoot it from there. If not, call IBM.

Hi *SM'ers, I have a problem with our freshly upraded TSM server (is now 5.2.2.1) : as I was trying to delete an old empty storage pool, using the web interface, I did not got any response anymore. I then tried to log in, using "dsmadmc", but once I provided my username the server would not go further, and did even not ask me my password ... Opening a new web session is also impossible : server page is there, but I can't log in. Server is still alive, as I can see some activity using topas, but I can't log in anymore to control what's happening. Could anyone help me ?
