Could someone at TSM let us know if this is a forward or a reverse lookup issue. We had the problem and it was fixed with the DNSLOOKUP NO setting.
We too wanted to solve the problem without using the option. We couldn't find any issues with DNS. All our clients are set in DNS with dynamic DNS. I'm not sure if Dynamic DNS actually puts a reverse lookup entry in or not. Maybe that was the problem. Anyway, I agree with Richard that you want to do some research with DNS but I was wondering if anyone has and if so what they found.
