Hi Jie, Does your drive also indicate an error code in it's tiny display, error 5 for example? You can refer to your manual on what to do with the specific drive and tape error codes. Also look into the firmware level of your drives, library and rmu. We had the same problems with our 3583 until we upgraded the firmware level.
-----Original Message----- From: Wu, Jie* [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, May 25, 2004 4:54 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: 3583 problem We have an IBM 3583 LTO library that has 3 LTO-1 drives, two of them are SCSI, the another is FC. Once every 2 or 3 three weeks two drives (any two of the three) would have problem ejecting tapes and go offline. I would have to recycle the library power to get those drives back. Has anyone seen similar problem and got solution? Thanks.
