Hey!
What CBMR does is create there own system backup of each servers. In that backup CBMR
is only backing up Boot files, OS and the ITSM Client and this backup is taking each
weekend or every time a major system change have been made. Your ITSM Client is still
backing up everything each day.
When you server has crash you boot up on a general CD from Cristie and let CBMR
partition, format your hard disk and it's also going to restore the backup that CBMR
have done during the weekend of your Windows box. When that is done CBMR is going to
start your ITSM Client so you can do a point in time restore of your system.
When the ITSM client have restore everything in point in time you reboot your Windows
box and it's up and running and it's look exact the same since the backup have been
made.
