Hi all, We want to start with lanfree-backup of some Windows-Fileservers (W2K;TSM-Clients). The storage devices are 3592-tape-drives (4) in an 3494-Tape-Library. The TSM-Server is an AIX-Server (TSM 5.2 ; AIX 5.2).
Question : How can I be sure that the device-files (id's) keep the same after reboot of the client or exchange of one of our tape-drives. Or does the device file change because one drive e.g. is unavailable during reboot of the client. Thanks for any help Chris
