Matt - Do 'ulimit -a' in the process C shell (or equivalent command in another shell)
to fully assure that your virtual storage is unlimited, as you believe.
If system virtual storage were actually exhausted, you'd be seeing a lot of surrounding
AIX processes being blown away, as reflected in the pacct file and Error Log. I don't
think you're seeing that.
Go to www.ibm.com and search on that message number. You'll come upon an interesting
AIX situation as well.
