Image backup on USB drive

I am trying to run an image backup of an USB hard drive and I am receiving
error ANS1067E-Error in system call. I looked at the documentation and it is
not very helpful. Does anyone know what causes that error and how it can be
resolved? I am able to run a file backup on this drive but not an image.
