Loren C & Matthew G, There is an alternative to using the inbuilt TEC adapter in TSM - it kinda gets tacked on to the TSM Operational Reporting Tool and it might help you somewhat.
Steve Strutt from IBM here in the UK has written a very informative RedPiece on this - I don't have the exact link to hand, but take a trip to the IBM Redbooks site and do a sensible search to find it there.
