You need to update your dsmserv.opt file and include a line that tells
TSM where to store device configuration information.
If you edit the dsmserv.opt file, you may find lots of commented-out
text in there explaining various options to you. There will be an
explanation of the option DEVCONFIG. This is the one you need to set.
If your dsmserv.opt does not contain the helpful text, then basicaly you
need to add a line to your dsmserv.opt that reads;
DEVCONFIG /a/path/and/filename
For example, for our TSM servers we use
DEVCONFig /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/devconf.out
DEVCONFig /usr/tivoli/tsm/tsmdrm/devconf.out

Hi all,
when I was trying to add new cartridges I got the following error for
label
libvolume and checkin libvolume
ANR1434W No files have been identified for automatically
storing device configuration information.
I saw in the err messages pdf of IBM but unable to know what I have to
do correctly.
