Hey! I was just wondering if there is a new Trace Facility Guide for 5.2? And also, what is the exact syntax for a trace? I thought it was -testflag=instrument:detail in the dsm.opt file, but it isn't giving me a breakdown of where the time is being spent on a backup and showing me where the performance issue is. I am having issues with our LAN-free setup. It is taking longer to go LAN-free than it does to go to disk. I just wanted to make sure that everything is working properly. I am trying this on a new TSM server that is still being tested, so does it make more sense for me to turn tracing on the TSM server? If so, is it just trace begin and then when I am done trace end? Where is the info. kept and how do I remove it? Thanks in advance!!!!
