The CM4MMR solution is designed to ensure content compliance and to provide content management. Specifically, the CM4MMR solution provides the following functionality: - Captures e-Mail, text attachments (including ZIP files) in unmodified form. - Verifies quality and accuracy of recorded data and ensures compliance of the data. - Stores data in non-erasable format and in duplicate (both index data and content). - Enforces formal retention periods on all stored content and indexes. - Provides federated search on all stored content/indexes and fast retrieval. - Provides supervisory access to system data, indexes, and activities. Working with e-Mail servers such as Lotus Domino and Ms Exchange, the solution is comprised of the following components: - IBM DB2 Content Manager (that provides message storage, indexing, search, and retrieval) - iLumin Assentor (that provides message discovery, review, and litigation support) - IBM DB2 CommonStore (that works as the mailbox archive management system) - IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Data Retention Protection (that works as the compliance storage device) If you are interested in participate in the residency and have practical implementation and administration experience in ONE or more of the following area, please apply immediately: - IBM DB2 Content Manager for Multiplatforms - iLumin Assentor - IBM DB2 CommonStore - IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Data Retention Protection More information can be found from the following link: http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/residents.nsf/c0d5c6f1588c774985256ad1005da419/a20d1fa1e6ca49cb85256f82007a663d?OpenDocument Regards, Charlotte Project Leader and Certified IT Specialist IBM TotalStorage Solutions, ITSO San Jose email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ph: (408) 927-3641 t/l: 8-457-3641 fax: (408) 927-3616 http://ibm.com/redbooks
