I'm not sure what you mean by "ignore", but there are two ways to expire database backups: 1. Run del volhist type={dbb|dbs} todate=<mm/dd/yyyy> This deletes all full database backup (or database snapshots) tape volumes *prior* to the date requested. **WARNING** Do not use this command if you are using TSM's disaster recovery commands to control vaulted tape contents. 2. Run set drmdbbackupexpiredays <number_of_days> This will set the number of days to keep the database backup.
