Nothing happens to data on the SOURCE server, where the data is exported from. EXPORT NODE just puts a COPY of the client data into a portable format. You can export the same client, over and over and over.

Does any thing happen on the server where the node was exported from ? Because we want to test some different retention levels on the server where the node's data was imported to so is there any risk to the data where it originally resided ? We are not planning to backup any more data to the node that was exported on the destination server where we imported it. but to keep backups running on the original TSM server. Thanks Justin
