We used to use this exclude for Netware Queues (we haven't had any Netware for around 5 years though!)
EXCLUDE *:...\*.QDR\* Or perhaps try modifying yours to: EXCLUDE '*:\...\QUEUES\...\*' -----Original Message----- From: Zoltan Forray/AC/VCU [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2005 8:27 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Netware EXCLUDES and odd file names This applies to a Netware 6.0 system. The client was 5.1.5.1 but I had them upgrade to 5.2.3.0. I get these errors: 03/24/2005 00:13:59 ANE4007E (Session: 130377, Node: CSERV3.VCU.EDU) Error processing 'LUCKY:/QUEUES/02000010.QDR/Q_E0B9.SRV': access to the object is denied(SESSION: 130377) 03/24/2005 00:14:05 ANE4007E (Session: 130377, Node: CSERV3.VCU.EDU) Error processing 'LUCKY:/QUEUES/02000010.QDR/Q_E0B9.SYS': access to the object is denied(SESSION: 130377) I have the following coded in a CLOPTSET, but still get the errors: EXCLUDE '*:\...\QUEUES\*' I even tried: EXCLUDE '*:/.../QUEUES/*' What am I missing ? Also, is there an issue with backing up files on Netware systems, that have brackets [ ] in the name ? For instance, another file/directory that constantly errors with "file not found" errors is: 03/24/2005 00:13:04 ANE4005E (Session: 130377, Node: CSERV3.VCU.EDU) Error processing 'LUCKY:/PHYS/Pittman/Home/JLowman/My documents 03172005/My Music/Jimmy Buffett/Songs You Know By Heart [1990]': file not found(SESSION: 130377) This is actually a directory name !
