You had asked about this problem in January, 2004, where that's an unhealthy combination of client and server types and levels. You really want to get your server level to at least 5.2.

The reason I ask is because I am seeing this error in the activity log for some nodes that fall in to this category. I believe it is pointing to the System State filespace.
