(q filespace f=d will show the last back-up start /complete date). The last know situation will be kept. Files marked as inactive on or before last back-up will be expired based on the policy setting applied to them. Active files will be kept until manual deleted. If you unmount a file system on a client (in this case we are talking Solaris), and then perform the usual incremental backup, does TSM see at the unmounted file system as deleted files? Or will the last known state of that file system be kept in backup unless manually deleted?
