Hi, I know you said the links are OK, but this type of error usually indicates a problem with the $ORACLE_HOME/lib/libobk.so symbolic link. I cannot find anything for 585 SBT error code. Other possibilities could be an formatting error in the parms part of the channel allocation or permissions to read config files such as dms.sys.
