Sure... With tape, you have infinite capacity, as it's a removable medium. You just have to engage in "library emulation" as you have an operator watch a console and respond to manual mount/dismount requests. But no serious business wants to do that. Your organization needs to get realistic about its demands for backup capacity, and pursue a real library, choosing a technology which can meet needs for the reasonable future, or be frame expanded. Make the capacity planning case to your management. Richard Sims
