Have the host script do a DEFINE SCHEDULE (one time) with start time = NOW, or an UPDATE SCHEDULE to current date and time?

You could also just run the backup, without using the scheduler: dsmc incremental >logfile -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of goc Sent: Tuesday, February 14, 2006 6:36 AM To: [email protected] Subject: clint scheduler question ! hi, is there a way to start a backup schedule via tsm central scheduler right after some script on the host has ended ? i know about prescript option but what if this is not an option ? is there another way to do that ? does anyone has some experience with issue like that ? thanks in advance goran TSM 5.3.1.5 on AIX clients ALL
