There is (or should be) a file IBMtape.conf in /usr/kernel/drv. See the manual IBM SCSI Tape Drive, Medium Changer, and Library Device Drivers. GC35-0154-05.1 Look in the Solaris chapters 26-29. Basically you define which lun's IBMtape will "see". There is a file in the same directory named st.conf, which you need to consider, as well, as you don't want the same device "seen" by more than one driver!

If I could get the OS to do that, I would hope to see my two IBMtape drives assigned to 0 and 1 (0stc, 1stc) again, and this would save me a lot of extra work. If there are any Solaris people out there that can help me with this it was be awesome. Many thanks Farren ###################################################################### The information contained in this e-mail and any subsequent correspondence is private and confidential and intended solely for the named recipient(s).
