#lscfg -vpl rmtX To get firmware versions of library and tape drives. Howvere, if AIX has not been rebooted since firmware was updated, the old versions will show with these commands. To get updated versions, delete device at AIX level and run cfgmgr. Of course, make sure TSM tape operations are not active when you do this! David B.
