Yi, The Data Protection for SQL 5.2.1 client currently supports SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2000 on 32bit and IA64 machines.
The Data Protection for SQL support of SQL Server 2005 "x64" on Windows Server 2003 "x64" is something we are currently working on. This is targeted to support both EM64T and AMD64 platforms. There already is TSM BA Client that supports Windows "x64". You can find it here: (ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/maintenance/client/v5r3/Windows/x64/) Thanks, Del ---------------------------------------------------- "ADSM: Dist Stor Manager" <[email protected]> wrote on 04/07/2006 01:03:23 PM: > Hello, > > The TDP for MSSQL referred to is for SQL Server 2005? > Is there X86-64 bit TSM Client? > > Thanks, > Yi > > -----Original Message----- > From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Del > Hoobler > Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2006 4:11 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: TDP MSSQL on X86-64 > > Hi Paul, > > As Steve said... this is something we are working on right now. > > Look for something in the next month or so... standard disclaimers apply, > i.e. this is not a guarantee and IBM reserves the right to > change these dates and plans. > > Thanks, > > Del
