I have recently been seeing these strange, intermittant errors from my AIX TSM server (5.2.3.2).
They are becoming more and more frequent. 4/12/2006 3:00:37 PM ANR1663E Open Server: Server not defined 4/12/2006 3:00:37 PM ANR1651E Server information for is not available. 4/12/2006 3:00:37 PM ANR4377E Session failure, target server is not defined on the source server. 4/12/2006 3:00:37 PM ANR9778E Unable to establish a communication session with the primary library manager. 4/12/2006 3:00:37 PM ANR1401W Mount request denied for volume 090499 - mount failed. These messages are usually preceeded or followed by a slew of I/O error messages pertaining to anything that was using tape at the time. I have not been able to find anything about the "Open Server" error message ? This server *IS* the primary library manager (IBM 3494 ATL). Nothing appears in the AIX errpt/logs ! Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions ?
