Hi, Yes, I saw that one and you made me think twice... Or at least test CAD one more time. :-)
When you install CAD you will create a key (string value) under HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TSM Schedule\Parameters\CadSchedTimer The CadSchedTimer value is refering to the timer file = \s158. In dsmerror.log: UseExternalTimer: Unable to open timer file '\s158. If I stop/disable CAD and delete CadSchedTimer, the Scheduler service runs OK again. If I use dsmutil remove /name:"TSM CAD", TSM will leave CadSchedTimer as an orphaned entry in the registry... //Henrik -----Original Message----- From: ADSM: Dist Stor Manager [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Richard Sims Sent: den 8 maj 2006 13:56 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: TSM CAD, 5.3.3.0 Henrik - IBM Technote 1234244 may explain the problem.
