Hi Iban, No, the "prepare" command only creates the recovery plan. To initiate the backup of your storage pools, you'll have to create a server script (lets call it scriptX) looking like :
Backup storage tapepool_1 copypool_1 maxproc=1 wait=yes Backup storage tapepool_2 copypool_2 maxproc=2 Etc ... Then you'll have to define an administrative command schedule which will basically issue a command like "run scriptX". Note that you'll need to wait until scriptX has finished, before issuing the "drm prepare" command, to make sure that the offsite tapes TSM just created will be recorded in the recovery plan. That's all ! Hope it helped ... Hi everyone, Can someone explain me, if when I launch the prepare command of the DRM, the copy of the primary storage pool is launched also ¿? Or it is only when i do it by myself ¿? (for example with an scheduler...) So, the prepare command only creates the recovery plan ¿?
