Hi, I have a client that is trying to encrypt their data on the client side and then pass the data to the TSM server for backups. I have been looking into what configuration are needed. They have set their opt file themselves and I am running test with it now, but I thought I'd post the question.
Their DSM.OPT file looks like this: PASSWORDACCESS GENERATE DOMAIN C: DOMAIN D: DOMAIN SYSTEMSERVICES DOMAIN SYSTEMSTATE DOMAIN ALL-LOCAL DOMAIN ALL-LOCAL TCPSERVERADDRESS <Serveraddress> MANAGEDSERVICES WEBCLIENT ENCRYPTIONTYPE AES128 They have the "ENCRYPTIONTYPE AES128" option set in their opt file. Will this work or is there anther piece that is needed? Let me know if anyone has info on this. Thanks, Roger
