I have read about how the dsmprune.log file is supposed to work,
so why would an enduser get this error when trying to archive a file to
TSM? The file should only be around when the schedule daemon is trying
to prune the log...

ANS1398E Initialization functions cannot open one of the Tivoli Storage
Manager logs or a related file: /var/log/adsm/dsmprune.log. errno = 13,
Permission denied
IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Command Line Backup/Archive Client Interface

It's a Solaris 9 client running TSM 5.3.3.0 and the TSM server is AIX
5.3 with TSM 5.3.3.0
