Good Afternoon. We are trying to restore one servers backups to another server through the GUI. We are using TSM 5.2.2 on a Solaris box and the TSM server is running TSM 5.2.2. We login to the serer we want to restore to, changed the dsm.sys and dsm.opt file to point to the other server(data to restore) then run dsm. The GUI appears, the system directories appear on the machine we want to restore from but I don't see any files to restore only the directory structure. Both machines(server that was backed up and server we want to restore to) are the same type of machine running the same level of TSM/OS. I'm not sure what I'm not doing correct.
