Hi folks,

We moved TSM to a new machine and we're getting kernel messages like the
ones below. Eventually dsmserv hangs.

The new machine is a 2x2 Core Duo box with 2GB of memory. We've tried
both the 2.6.9-34 (and smp) and the current 2.6.9-42.0.3 (and smp)
kernels, with IBMtape-3.0.3 for the correct kernel.

The machine is running Linux i386, not x86-64, which is our next plan of
attack.

I found one person who posted something similar off a Japanese IBM site,
and painfully translating the text produced results that sound like "huh,
that's certainly interesting."

Any suggestions?
