I had to download the INFORMIX TDP via Passport, since like every other TDP, it is a licensed thing !
What would be on service.boulder.ibm.com are patches/updates ! FWIW, it was not an easy thing to get working and we really couldn't get it to talk to TSM directly. Even following Avaya's own published instructions and calling them (they said we had incompatible versions of the TDP or TSM client or somesuch nonsense), our results are mixed. Right now we just backup/dump to a flat/extract file format and just back it up. Have a request to backup a server with an INFORMIX database that has a Avaya CMS LAN system on it. I was told the box itself is a Sun Solaris 5.8. Can someone lead me to the right direction for a TDP client that can back this up? I would also like to thank everyone for all your valuable knowledge that was shared with me for our migration from a ZOS TSM Server to a new AIX pSeries. I am slowly but surely getting all the clients moved and cannot believe the improved speed on both the backing up and the restores. You guys/gals are a wonderful resource...I would be lost without you! :) Shannon
