We might have a change in policy where we no longer need a 2nd copy of certain storage pools. If this were the case, would it be ok for me to just delete volume with discarddata=yes on those volumes, or when I discarddata does that affect my primary tape pool also. Looks like I'll be able to free up about 4,000 offsite tapes, but I don't want to affect my primary tapes. I am running version 5.3.3.1.....can anybody advise please?
