When I do the same thing from my client it will by default go to the baclient directory on my client, unless I specify a different spot, i.e d:\something\something. It never goes to the server. Automated commands that are defined in server command scripts do dump there but I specify where. This to me is all normal behavior of the OS where the command is running. I logged in to my TSM server and ran the command from there and was able to get a different message, which states this is not possible on 349x libraries, after a modification to the command that is. I actually missed that in the help. Seems odd to me because vollist and volr for checkin commands are valid for a 3494. I find it hard to believe I'd have to check out a couple of hundred scratch tapes one at a time, especially since I can check that many in with one. If anyone can shed some light I'd appreciate it. Has anyone tried using a macro for this? Geoff Gill TSM Administrator PeopleSoft Sr. Systems Administrator SAIC M/S-G1b (858)826-4062 Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
