We have a 3584 here, but our D/R hotsite provider is suggesting using the STK for our next test. I'm inclined to turn it down, not because I have an issue with STK but because I've currently got the library and tape definition process scripted and IIRC, I'll have 'issues' with the STK.
We will be recovering an an AIX 5.3 system with TSM at 5.3.1.6 and Atape 9.6.0.0. IIRC, the library will be 'lb0' and not 'smc0'; the tape drives will be 'mtx' and not 'rmtx' as well, correct? We just went through a D/R test this week, and a new AIX admin with NO TSM experience successfully restored the box, recovered the TSM database, and defined the library/drives to the point of starting restores. I'm not real interested in trying to fake out scripting for something I don't have . . . Am I right in my naming assumptions above?
