When using DRM, let it take care of things per its regimen, where its DRMDBBackupexpiredays value will prevail. The latest DBSnapshot cannot expire (see Technote 1083952), so if that damaged tape was the last one, perform another DBSnapshot, to get the damaged one on its way to expiration. Then you can retire the bad cartridge. Richard Sims
