A TSM backup of a type which causes an area of the file system to be traversed and its contents to be compared with that filespace area in TSM server storage (i.e., an Incremental backup), will result in file expiration where either the file no longer exists in the client file system or exists in TSM server storage and matches current exclusion patterns.
