Yes, I just confirmed this. It has to be Windows. Never noticed that before ________________________________________________ Shawn Drew Data Protection Engineer Core IT Production BNP Paribas RCC, Inc.
Internet [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent by: [email protected] 03/25/2008 11:11 AM Please respond to [email protected] To ADSM-L cc Subject [ADSM-L] NDMP and dsmcad Greetings, Several years ago we set up a Windows client to host Web Access to NDMP/NAS client backups, via dsmcad. As required, this client has client/owner privilege over all NDMP/NAS nodes. Works well. I want to change to a Linux client for this purpose, but have the lingering doubt that it will work ... it seems there is another requirement that only Windows clients can perform this function. Initial testing bears this out. Can anyone confirm this? Thank you. John Bremer This message and any attachments (the "message") is intended solely for the addressees and is confidential.
