What are the respective AIX levels of your sysback client and sysback
server ? Is your NIM server your sysback server ? Doest it have the
correct level of lpp_source in order to build the Sysback boot image ?
Look at :

c06 refers to "The rc.boot configuration shell script is unable to
determine type of boot."
Note that rc.boot is part of the SPOT, wich is used to build the boot image.
