We are normally an AIX house for TSM, but the hardware decision has been made for an implementation in a branch office.
I've used Windows TSM Server and am familiar with it. I've never used a Linux TSM Server, but would prefer a unix-y TSM Server. So knowledge and comfort aside, can anyone make some comments on stability and reliability of TSM Server on either platform? Tape Library is an IBM 3583 with LTO3 drives.
