Yes it is happening all the time. The files are mainly Exchange PST files - size from 2 to 12 GB. Also 2 Windows boxes System State + Windows folder + Program Files (it is less 4-5 GB each) . I try to backup 172 GB of data (besides the Windows sistem about 30,000 files only), but it does only about 127-130 GB.
What do you mean by files expanding during effort to compress again (I am not using any kind of TSM software compression) ? These are PST files so they may be self-compressed.
