I have seen some odd things happen on the ISC for 6.1 (not specifically the ones you mention) that change or disappear in a different browser.
If you are using IE, try Mozilla; if you are using Mozilla, try IE, or a later version/different platform for Mozilla. Java is evil, IMHO.
