We have a Windows 2008 client running TSM 5.5.1.6 client code which is getting the following messages in dsmsched.log:
03/08/2010 06:00:07 ANS5278W Error processing '\\mosaiq-db1\c$\Windows\System32\drivers\q57nd60a.sys': file not found. 03/08/2010 06:01:53 ANS1228E Sending of object '\\mosaiq-db1\c$\Boot\BCD' failed 03/08/2010 06:01:53 ANS4987E Error processing '\\mosaiq-db1\c$\Boot\BCD': the object is in use by another process Do these indicate a problem with the system file backup mechanism, or problems encountered while trying to back up some system files in the same way TSM backs up user files? If the latter is true, are these files supposed to be excluded from normal backup processing? Is a 'file not found' message for a driver as scary as it sounds? Is C;\Boot\BCD supposed to be in use after the boot process is done? How critical is it to have a backup of this file?
