Anyone had any issues with getting support from IBM when using NFS for FILE device class in TSM 5?
I had someone dig up this document, which in my mind is a bit confusing because it seems to refer DISK device class and DB and LOG volumes interchangeably. http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21214963 This person has declared that because of this document IBM does not support any remote disk utilization. Can anyone from IBM confirm that FILE device class over NFS is explicitly NOT supported?
