My more populated library performs approximately 75 mounts a day. Based on my mount and dismount times. I'd guess-timate drive utilization is around 35%-40%

Great information. Can you supply a few bits of context? How many mounts a day do you have, and how utilized are your drives? (i.e. out of 240 tape-drive-hours available in a library, how many are used?) - Allen S. Rout
