Maybe I do not understand your request, but there is no special setup for image
backups in GUI.

You need only to specify SNAPSHOTPROVIDERIMAGE:

1)     by adding "SNAPSHOTPROVIDERIMAGE VSS" into dsm.opt;

2) or by specifying it in backup command like "backup image D:
-snapshotproviderimage=vss"

I hope it will help you.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Setting up online image backups

Tsm client 6.2.1, server 5.5.4.

Client os windows 2003.

I would like to set up image backups, however the instructions I have found all
refer to the gui.

Unfortunately, I haven't yet got the java gui to work with a screen reader.

Can this be set up via command line, if so where can I find instructions?

Also, what are folks experiences with image backups?

Right now, I'm just testing to be ready if we need the feature.

Thanks for all your help.
