Onsite copy pools will be requested automatically during restore, if primary pool volumes are unvailable. This is normal disaster mode recovery (at Disaster Site), when primary pool volumes are marked UNAVAILABLE and available copy volumes changed from OFFSITE to READONLY.

Will the copy pool (which is an on-site tape pool defined on another tape library) help if clients need to restore something? Copy pool helps if something is wrong with the primary pool, how about contribution to restore if primary is not ready? Thanks Please consider the environment before printing this Email.
