The TS3310 is a rebadged Quantum Scalar i500 library. Those ports are to
connect to the ethernet management port on the expansion units.

They are needed if you use FC I/O blades in the expansion units. IBM do
not use these blades or the ethernet ports.

Subject
[ADSM-L] ports on TS3310 LCB

Caterpillar: Confidential Green Retain Until: 28/08/2010

Hi everyone,
The ports on the library control blade (LCB) of TS3310 from top to down
are:
a- Ethernet port (for remote management)
b- four Ethernet-like ports
c- Ethernet port (for service use)
d- Serial port (for service use)

What are the four ports in above 'b' section? I couldn't find it in 3310
manuals.

Thanks
