Tim - Just some basic advice: When you want to check on what a Restore will return, use dsmc query backup; likewise, for a Retrieve, use dsmc query archive. Inspecting the inventory helps a lot in showing what's out there. That can also aid in checking permission authority, where it is not possible to access what you don't own, or when you're not the superuser.
