DELete VOLHistory TODate=TODAY Type=BACKUPSET VOLume=C00130 FORCE=Yes Does Expire Inventory work with backupsets and can you be specific about expiring a Specific Backup set and it's tapes? Best regards! On 8/23/2010 3:06 PM, Conway, Timothy wrote:
Well - you can't delete by backupset name. I think I read once where you can specify volumes in an undocumented option, but that's irrelevant. How can I remove these backup sets and the volumes totally? There is no name to the example but I know I can delete that date 12/29/06 backup set and any volumes belonging to it. I know about the delete volume history command but I just see examples where they have a backupset name.
