If the password is accurate, then what needs to be questioned is the nodename
which is the allied part of the authentication. Your original posting quoted
the software message
Authenticating TSM password for node SGISGEXBE01_EX
but that nodename does not match what you expect. That needs to be
investigated.
You also cite a dsm.opt containing line
NODename exchg01_ex CLUSTERnode yes
which, if accurate, has two options on one line, which is no good.
Review the details of your configuration before proceeding further. Following
the steps in IBM Technote 1368387 may also help resolve the problem.
